\n Medical Staff Committee says Cope’s departure should lead to clinician-led system\n <\/p>\n

Medical staff at Noble\u2019s Hospital say the departure of Manx Care\u2019s chief executive should mark a \u2018necessary turning point\u2019 for healthcare governance on the Island.<\/p>\n

The Medical Staff Committee has thanked Teresa Cope for her work over the past five years and wished her well for the future.<\/p>\n

She announced her resignation earlier this week. You can find out more HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a statement provided to Manx Radio the committee said: “As we look ahead this transition must mark a necessary turning point for healthcare governance on the Isle of Man.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“We urgently need a new board led by clinicians working for Manx Care unified by a renewed, local spirit.<\/p>\n
