\n\tDespite the intense media training and spoiler deterrents Marvel Studios<\/a> has been rumored to inflict on its stars, Paul Walter Hauser<\/a> played it fast and loose with his character reveal.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Golden Globe winner, who makes his MCU<\/a> antihero debut as Mole Man in The Fantastic Four: First Steps<\/a>, recently confessed that he wasn\u2019t as discreet as most of his Marvel<\/a> peers about the surprise role.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cFor the most part I was zip-lipped, and everybody understands at this point. They all know if you do Star Wars, or Marvel, you can\u2019t talk about it,\u201d he explained to GQ<\/a>. \u201cBut if I\u2019m being honest\u2014and I pride myself on my honesty nowadays\u2014I probably told 70 or 80 random people, be it family members or fans. I\u2019m not gonna lie and say I told literally no one. I told several dozen people.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHauser continued, \u201cBut at the same time, they weren\u2019t blabbering it out, or giving it to news outlets. They were respectful, and excited, and what-have-you. But if a little kid comes up to me in a wheelchair with a comic book, and they\u2019re like, \u2018Are you Mole Man?\u2019 I would say something like, \u2018I don\u2019t know man, I hear there is a mole\u2026\u2019 And wink at them, just to get them excited.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAfter the Russo Brothers<\/a> have said they\u2019re cracking down on spoilers<\/a> while filming Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>, Hauser said he sees the strict MCU secrecy \u201ckind of like jaywalking,\u201d assuming they have bigger fish to fry.<\/p>\n
