\n St Martin’s Gate Surgery, Newtown Road, Worcester, was assessed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) between June 4 and June 10, 2025.\n<\/p>\n
\n The surgery, which also operates a branch surgery in St Peter’s and cares for more than 14,000 patients,\u00a0received an overall good rating, and was reported as good in the five main categories: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.\n<\/p>\n
\n Among some of the surgery’s strengths, the\u00a0report said: “The practice supported people to manage their health and wellbeing to maximise their independence, choice and control.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The service supported people to live healthier lives and, where possible, reduce their future needs for care and support.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The practice had a GP who had a specialist interest in women’s health and had completed additional training in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to support women who were going through menopause.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Staff focused on identifying risks to patients’ health, including those in the last 12 months of their lives, patients at risk of developing a long-term condition, and those with caring responsibilities.”\n<\/p>\n
