Drake<\/a>\u00a0has broken streaming records for 2026 with the release of his three new albums, \u2018Iceman\u2019, \u2018Habibti\u2019 and \u2018Maid\u00a0Of\u00a0Honour\u2019.<\/p>\n

The Canadian rap star had only been teasing the release of one record,\u00a0leaving fans surprised when all three dropped at midnight yesterday<\/a>\u00a0(May 15).<\/p>\n

\u2018Iceman\u2019,\u00a0which he had teased\u00a0by hiding its release date in a giant block of ice in Toronto<\/a>, is made up of 18 tracks and includes\u00a0appearances\u00a0from\u00a0Future<\/a>, Molly Santana and\u00a021 Savage<\/a>, while \u2018Habibti\u2019\u00a0is 11 songs in length and\u00a0features\u00a0Sexyy Red<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0PartyNextDoor<\/a>. \u2018Maid Of Honour\u2019,\u00a0meanwhile,\u00a0contains\u00a014 tracks, with\u00a0Central Cee<\/a>,\u00a0Popcaan<\/a>\u00a0and Iconic Savvy popping up.<\/p>\n

The three albums combined helped Drake to become the most-streamed artist in a single day of 2026 on\u00a0Spotify<\/a>, while \u2018Iceman\u2019 landed the most streams for an album in a single day\u00a0this year. \u2018Make Them Cry\u2019 also became the most streamed song in a single day in 2026 so far on the streamer.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The three records also collectively gave Drake the biggest first-day streaming debut around the world for any artist this year on Amazon Music.<\/p>\n

They are Drake\u2019s first studio albums since 2023\u2019s \u2018For All The Dogs<\/a>\u2019 \u2013 although he did drop \u2018$ome $exy $ongs 4 U<\/a>\u2019 last year, a collaborative record with\u00a0PartyNextDoor.<\/p>\n

The three records are also Drake\u2019s first to be released since his\u00a0all-encompassing beef with Kendrick Lamar<\/a>, and\u00a0ensuing lawsuit against Universal Music Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The White House courted controversy yesterday when\u00a0they shared a photoshopped version of the \u2018Iceman\u2019 artwork<\/a>, superimposing a \u2018MAGA\u2019 chain necklace into the bejewelled hand on the cover.<\/p>\n

In other Drake news, in January the rapper\u00a0was accused in court of promoting an allegedly illegal online gambling platform<\/a> and using proceeds to artificially inflate his streaming numbers, and that month also saw A$AP Rocky release a diss track against him, \u2018Don\u2019t Be Dumb\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n
