{"id":590744,"date":"2026-05-18T14:56:22","date_gmt":"2026-05-18T14:56:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/590744\/"},"modified":"2026-05-18T14:56:22","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T14:56:22","slug":"the-bromyard-woman-painting-lost-loved-ones-for-free","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/590744\/","title":{"rendered":"The Bromyard woman painting lost loved ones for free"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Discussing her inspiration, India, Young said: &#8220;She inspired me because she was a sweet baby and a sweet little girl, and very photogenic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I painted lots of portraits of her but sadly&#8230; India died with a brain tumour at St Michael&#8217;s Hospice in 2017. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;And I&#8217;ve been moved by her, and the great work the hospice did looking after her at the end of her life.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Young said she had managed to stay in touch with many of the families she had painted for, including some overseas. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">She said: &#8220;I only started painting because I love painting. I never thought it would lead to such deep connections.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I&#8217;m still in touch with lots of the people, some abroad, who I&#8217;ve never met, that I&#8217;ve done paintings for.
