Four Super League players have been banned by Super League’s Match Review Panel this week.<\/p>\n
It’s been a busy week for the disciplinary panel with 22 charges being handed out to 21 individuals with Hull FC prop Yusuf Aydin picking up the most severe charge.<\/p>\n
The forward was sent off on Sunday against Bradford Bulls for throwing Caleb Aekins to the ground and he has been handed a Grade F charge for a dangerous throw or lift.<\/p>\n
That charge comes with 35 disciplinary points and ensures he has been handed a six match ban by the MRP.<\/p>\n
As such, the forward will miss a huge chunk of FC’s summer as they look to finally build some form and traction in the Super League table.<\/p>\n
Lachie Miller also looks set to miss a big chunk of the season after being handed a three game ban for touching an injured player on the floor. The Rhinos can appeal it, but a precedent has been set there with Wigan Warriors’ Harry Smith being handed a similar charge earlier in the season.<\/p>\n
Taane Milne has been given a one match ban for striking during Huddersfield Giants’ loss to St Helens on Thursday, while Castleford Tigers’ George Hirst has been hit with a two game suspension for Grade D head contact.<\/p>\n
