\n A public consultation has begun on a scheme for up to 700 homes at Wexham Park Golf Centre in Buckinghamshire.\n<\/p>\n
\n The development would cover two parcels of land that currently form part of the golf course.\n<\/p>\n
\n Hawridge Land, which is leading the proposals, said the development would help address housing needs while securing the future of the golf facility.\n<\/p>\n
\n The plan includes around 250 homes on the western site, known as Wexham Grange, and about 450 homes on Gallions Park to the east.\n<\/p>\n
\n Half of the new housing would be delivered through various affordable tenure schemes\n<\/p>\n

\n Around 57 per cent of Wexham Grange and 55 per cent of Gallions Park would remain as publicly accessible green space, which would be enhanced and maintained in perpetuity.\n<\/p>\n
\n Wexham Park Golf Centre has been actively exploring options to bring forward part of the golf course for development since 2016, with a view to ensuring its facilities can continue to serve the community for years to come.\n<\/p>\n
\n Under the current plans, the clubhouse, car park, driving range, and adventure golf would remain open.\n<\/p>\n
\n The existing 27-hole golf course could be reconfigured to a single nine-hole course.\n<\/p>\n
\n Both courses will continue to operate during the planning process, and are likely to stay open until at least 2028.\n<\/p>\n
\n The developer said this should ensure \u201cminimal disruption\u201d for members and visitors.\n<\/p>\n
\n Hawridge Land intends to submit two separate outline planning applications to Buckinghamshire Council later this summer.\n<\/p>\n
