Jung Kook<\/a> is officially a fashion designer now. Launching tomorrow (May 20), the South Korean K-pop star has revealed his first capsule collection, in collaboration with Calvin Klein<\/a>. After rising to fame as a member of global boyband BTS<\/a>, Jung Kook has been a face of the brand since 2023 (see here<\/a>), but this announcement marks a whole new chapter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Inspired by his own rebellious spirit and personal love of motorbikes, the capsule collection blends Calvin Klein classics with biker silhouettes. Naturally, the 20-piece collection includes underwear staples, as well as sweatshirts, graphic tees and distressed denim. You\u2019ll also discover timeless Calvin Klein DNA pieces such as 90s trucker jackets, straight-leg trousers and low-rise baggy styles.\u00a0<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll also notice racing stripe details \u2013 reminiscent of our own Autumn 2023 cover <\/a>shootwith the artist, where he is captured behind the wheel, literally and metaphorically driving in his own lane. As well as dropping a new campaign, Dazed has been granted exclusive behind-the-scenes access to unseen imagery from the shoot, which is featured throughout this article. The collection also features some very special branding. Instead of the typical CK logo, clothes are labelled \u2018CKJK\u2019, with hidden embroidery and Jung Kook-inspired graphics. What\u2019s more, the artist was closely involved with the whole creative process, from initial ideas to signing off final designs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Back in 2023, Calvin Klein released a collaboration with Blackpink\u2019s<\/a> JENNIE, which, unsurprisingly, sold out mere moments after the collection went live. With Jung Kook being one of the biggest pop stars in the world, the same reaction can be expected from this drop \u2013 so get it while you can.
