Hulu has set the release date for Osgood Perkins\u2018 folk horror film. Headlined by a Marvel star, it premiered in theaters several months ago to a mixed-to-negative critical reception.<\/p>\n
Keeper arrives on Hulu in June<\/p>\n
Keeper, starring Tatiana Maslany, is heading to Hulu on June 5, 2026. It earlier arrived on digital storefronts on December 9, 2025, and became available in Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Combo Pack on January 20, 2026.<\/p>\n
Distributed by Neon, it was originally released in theaters on November 14, 2025. It struggled considerably during its theatrical run, eventually grossing only approximately $6.2 million against its estimated $6 million budget.<\/p>\n
On Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, the movie shows a rotten 45% critical rating and a similarly mediocre 40% audience score. Meanwhile, Metacritic<\/a> displays a Metascore of 54 and a user score of 5.1 \u2014 both denoting \u201cmixed or average\u201d reception.<\/p>\n Critical reviews are largely negative. Slate<\/a>\u2018s Nadira Goffe wrote, \u201cKeeper\u00a0is a movie that starts with immense promise but squanders it minute by minute. Despite a great performance from Maslany,\u00a0Keeper\u00a0struggles to remain innovative and definitely doesn\u2019t stick the landing.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Allison Rose of FlickDirect<\/a> gave it 2\/5 stars in her review. She praised the visuals and Maslany\u2019s performance, but criticized the story and characterization, saying it ruined the film.<\/p>\n
