Eight, times two<\/p>\n
Posing for a picture after the Bison City Stakes never gets old for jockey Patrick Husbands, who along with trainer Mark Casse, celebrated his eighth triumph of the $250,000 contest for Canadian-foaled 3-year-old fillies Saturday at Woodbine aboard Winterberry.<\/p>\n
The second choice in the field of six at 9-5, Winterberry led coast-to-coast to reach the wire 2 \u00bd lengths ahead of 3-5 choice and stablemate Shifty to also deliver a one-two finish for owner D.J. Stable LLC.<\/p>\n
Winterberry paid $5.70 for the win, while the D.J. Stable exacta paid $10 even.<\/p>\n

Picture time again<\/p>\n
A spirited effort from veteran mare Cara Cara in Saturday\u2019s seventh sent the 27-start veteran back into the winner\u2019s circle after knocking on the door all season.<\/p>\n
Raring to go following a third and two seconds in her previous three starts, the bay bred by Howard Walton showed true grit down the lane to get up by a neck for her first victory since last June.<\/p>\n
The John Mattine trainee, who has been a consistent presence on the podium throughout her career (5-7-6), paid $7.20.<\/p>\n

Verdict is in\u2026<\/p>\n
Philip Banks dropped the gavel with an authoritative 3 \u00be-length victory on Sunday afternoon at Woodbine.<\/p>\n
Making just his second career start in Woodbine\u2019s fifth, the son of Silent Name (JPN)\u2013Fresh Princess, who debuted with a fourth in July\u2019s Lake Superior Stakes, also at Woodbine, set the tempo early and never looked back for the maiden-breaking score.<\/p>\n
The 3-year-old bred, owned, and trained by Tony Gattellaro paid $8.60.<\/p>\n
