Pixar<\/a> has released three new posters for Toy Story 5<\/a>. The fifth film in the franchise will see the beloved toy heroes pitted against a formidable villain.<\/p>\n

What do the new Toy Story 5 posters show?<\/p>\n

The new posters<\/a> show Woody, Buzz, and Jessie facing off against Lilypad. As revealed in the previous trailer<\/a>, Lilypad is an anthropomorphised tablet reminiscent of a modern iPad. The film\u2019s premise sees the heroes competing for Bonnie\u2019s attention during her playtime after Lilypad\u2019s arrival.<\/p>\n

While all three posters follow the same layout, subtle differences highlight the evolving dynamics between the toys and Lilypad. Woody and Jessie are shown to be concerned, while Buzz looks visibly angrier. While Toy Story 5 took almost seven years to complete, its director has already teased<\/a> where the franchise could head in the future.<\/p>\n

Toy Story 5 stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Tony Hale, John Ratzenberger, Wallace Shawn, Blake Clark, Annie Potts, Bonnie Hunt, Melissa Villase\u00f1or, Kristen Schaal, Krys Marshall, and Keanu Reeves.<\/p>\n

The film is directed by Andrew Stanton from a screenplay co-written by Andrew Stanton and Kenna Harris. Stanton has been a writer on the Toy Story franchise since its inception, and has also directed some of Pixar\u2019s biggest hits. His filmography includes directing Finding Nemo, WALL-E, and even the live-action John Carter movie. Kenna Harris co-directs the movie, and Lindsey Collins produces it.<\/p>\n
