Also, the Surface Laptop&#8217;s battery capacity remains unchanged at 50 Wh. Official battery life estimates have dropped by 2 hours to 14 hours of active web usage, though.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The new Surface Laptop 13-inch &#8216;for Business&#8217; starts at $1,499 in the US with 16 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Alternatively, the laptop can be configured with up to 24 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD for $2,249.99, but only in a Platinum finish.
