{"id":594872,"date":"2026-05-20T19:24:13","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T19:24:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/594872\/"},"modified":"2026-05-20T19:24:13","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T19:24:13","slug":"trains-between-glasgow-and-edinburgh-disrupted-after-lorry-strikes-bridge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/594872\/","title":{"rendered":"Trains between Glasgow and Edinburgh disrupted after lorry strikes bridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rail services between Glasgow and Edinburgh have been disrupted after a lorry struck a bridge near Haymarket station. <\/p>\n<p>Services between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street via Falkirk High have been terminated, and all trains between Edinburgh and Dunblane will start and terminate at Falkirk Grahamston, after the vehicle collided with the structure on Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>A Network Rail response team is at the scene to inspect the bridge for any damage.
