Am I Being Unreasonable? season 2 spoilers follow.

Am I Being Unreasonable? is officially returning for a third and final season — and if the latest clues are anything to go by, the chaotic dramedy is about to become even darker. The twisted BBC series, created by and starring Daisy May Cooper alongside Selin Hizli, left viewers stunned at the end of its second season as Nic’s carefully buried secrets threatened to explode into the open.

Now, with a final chapter confirmed, fans are expecting the show’s biggest twists yet. Season two ended on a jaw-dropping cliffhanger after Suzie discovered a recording of Nic confessing to Alex’s murder. But before she could react properly, she was interrupted by Nic’s unsettling son Ollie, leaving viewers terrified about what could happen next.

The season two finale heavily hinted that Ollie may have intervened in a deadly way. And considering the youngster had already killed the family cat, Mr Meowgi, many viewers are convinced the show has been building towards something far more sinister.

But Nic isn’t the only one hiding horrifying secrets.

Jen, played by Selin Hizli, was also exposed during season two after it was revealed she’d smothered Mrs Baggot to death in a desperate attempt to regain Nic’s friendship. Their co-dependent relationship has always sat at the heart of the show — but season three looks set to test whether the pair can survive the truth.

What can we expect from Season 3 of Am I Being Unreasonable?

While plot details remain tightly under wraps, Daisy May Cooper has already teased a season packed with even more shocking moments. Speaking to Hello! during the premiere of the documentary The Six Billion Dollar Man in London in late 2025, Daisy warned viewers to brace themselves for “more rug-pulls and twists and turns”, adding: “It gets even messier.”

She also shared that season three will place a much bigger spotlight on Ollie, played by Lenny Rush. “We are going to give Lenny, who plays my son Ollie, it’s going to be some big stuff for him this season.”

Throughout the series, Nic has repeatedly expressed her fears that Ollie could develop dangerous tendencies, fears that have only intensified as the show has progressed. With Suzie’s fate still unresolved, many fans suspect Ollie’s storyline could become the darkest part of the final season altogether.

The official synopsis also hints that other major storylines will continue unravelling. Among them is Dan’s affair and the possibility of a baby bombshell after his mistress hinted at the possibility she could be pregnant. Whatever the case, the synopsis teases mayhem, vowing that “everyone is forced to confront their messy realities once and for all”.

Who’s in the cast of Am I Being Unreasonable season 3?

Naturally, Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli will once again lead the cast for the show’s final run. Dustin Demri-Burns is expected to return as Nic’s unfaithful husband Dan, while Amanda Wilkin’s involvement strongly suggests the mystery surrounding Suzie will remain central to the story.

Other familiar faces expected to return to Am I Being Unreasonable include Juliet Cowan, David Flynn, Karla Crome and even Georgie Flynn who portrayed Mrs Baggot, though this has yet to be confirmed. While he joined the cast in season two, Charlie Cooper’s return to the series also remains unconfirmed.

When can I watch Am I Being Unreasonable season 3?

No official release date has yet been confirmed. The show’s first season originally aired in September 2022 after being delayed during the national mourning period following Queen Elizabeth II’s death, while season two arrived in February 2025.

With season three commissioned in May 2026, a release window in late 2026 or early 2027 currently appears most likely. One thing is certain, however, with murder confessions, buried secrets and increasingly dangerous relationships spiralling out of control, Am I Being Unreasonable’s final season could be its messiest.
