\n He said: \u201cThe day went really well. This is now our third annual golf day for the foundation and it\u2019s getting better each time.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cThe flow of the day was really good, and it was a big help that the weather stayed dry.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt wasn’t as hot as the two previous years, but at least it was dry, and everybody got around the course without getting soaked, which is always good.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt was a good laugh and just about everybody who was playing knew Daniel personally.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Prior to the event, Glasgow Children\u2019s Hospital Charity contacted the foundation to ask for a contribution toward its \u00a322,000 target to set up the ASN day centre – and the foundation was happy to oblige.\n<\/p>\n
\n A donation from funds raised at the event will also be made to Ardgowan Hospice.\n<\/p>\n

\n There were 23 teams of four competing on the day, and many people who weren’t playing attended to help out.\n<\/p>\n
\n Prizes were given out including a full golf bag for the winning team, a golf wedge for second place and T-shirts from the club’s pro shop for third.\n<\/p>\n
\n Local businesses also donated towards a raffle and an auction.\n<\/p>\n
\n Paul added that everyone involved the foundation would like to thank all their sponsors and everyone who pitched in to make the day a success.\n<\/p>\n
\n He added: \u201cIt’s incredible the amount of support received for the golf day and for everything else that happened throughout the year.\n<\/p>\n
