We spoke to the Dutch sprinter Dylan Groenewegen this morning, whose Unibet Rose Rockets team is working hard to keep the breakaway in check. This is what he had to say:<\/p>\n
\u201dToday is not 100% sure [to be a bunch sprint] but we have a lot of plans for today, and hopefully one of them will work out. If it\u2019s a sprint, I think we have a good chance for a stage win today.”<\/p>\n
I\u2019m feeling quite good. I think our whole team is still feeling quite fresh, which is a good sign. We\u2019re designed for the flatter stages. We don\u2019t need to race every day and we can pick our stages. So far, it\u2019s worked out well \u2013 the only thing that\u2019s missing is a victory. Milan or Rome are a bigger chance for me, but hopefully today I\u2019ll also have a chance.<\/p>\n
Asked whether he was losing sleep thinking about that crash in Napoli, he said: \u201dNot so much. I\u2019m really proud looking back at that stage \u2013 it was one of the best lead-outs I\u2019ve ever had in a Grand Tour, so I\u2019m really happy with that.
