\n\tEmily in Paris<\/a>\u2018 upcoming sixth season will be the Netflix<\/a> comedy series\u2019 last. Star Lily Collins<\/a> and creator Darren Star<\/a> commemorated the occasion with behind-the-scenes photos in Greece, where production on the final season started today.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis caps Emily in Paris\u2018 journey, which stared with a 2018 series order at Paramount Network<\/a>, where it was supposed to be paired with Star\u2019s TV Land dramedy Younger. Emily in Paris moved to Netflix ahead of its first season<\/a>, originally produced for Paramount Network by MTV Entertainment Studios. The studio\u2019s parent company went through two mergers since, Viacom-CBS and Paramount-Skydance. The studio underwent a couple of transformations too; it is now Paramount Television Studios.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Greece location picks up from the Season 5 finale cliffhanger<\/a>, in which Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) sent Emily (Collins) a postcard from the ancient country, asking her to meet him there.<\/p>\n

\n\tStar at the time told Deadline that the duo reconnecting<\/a> \u201cdefinitely hints at the idea that they\u2019ll stay in each other\u2019s lives.\u201d This being the final season and Emily accepting Gabriel\u2019s invitation also hints that fans may get what they had been hoping for since Episode 1 \u2014 that the star-crossed lovers are endgame.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeasons 1\u20135 of Emily in Paris, which made its Netflix debut in 2020, have spent 32 weeks on the streamer\u2019s Global Top 10 list and reached No. 1 in 90 countries. The series has inspired fashion trends and memes and has boosted tourism to France, getting praise from French President Emmanuel Macron for its role in bringing visitors to the country.<\/p>\n
