{"id":597915,"date":"2026-05-22T11:38:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T11:38:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/597915\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T11:38:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T11:38:09","slug":"florescence-maisie-peters-is-back-with-a-healed-sound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/597915\/","title":{"rendered":"Florescence: Maisie Peters is back with a &#8216;healed&#8217; sound"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Chicken Shop Date star, described by Peters as &#8220;super focused and creative&#8221;, directs the trailer for the album and the video for My Regards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The video, which pays tribute to the cult British teen film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, sparked a delighted reaction online.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A number of fans commented under the clip, which included the film&#8217;s main actress Georgia Groome, to say the collaboration was &#8220;iconic&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;We did get rained on pretty heavily and I was walking around in a massive daisy costume,&#8221; Peters says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;It was such a crazy day, it really felt like I walked out of a dream world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">For fans wanting to experience some of that dream through a full tour of the new album, Peters says they&#8217;ll have to &#8220;wait and see&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">But there will be a gig at the O2 in London next year, which she admits to being &#8220;a little bit nervous&#8221; about.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I hope that people come.
