Not surprisingly, Elon Musk didn\u2019t like The Boys\u2018 season 5 finale. It might have been because of how things end for its fascist superhero chad, Homelander<\/a>. Or it might be because the Amazon Prime series\u2019 final episode took a quick swipe at the weirdo billionaire before signing off.<\/p>\n

The Boys season 5, episode 8 randomly introduces an entirely new character called G\u00fcnter Van Ellis. He\u2019s the richest man in the world. He has 17 children. He\u2019s an amateur astronaut. And he wears a black Homelander hat that is a spitting image of the MAGA one Elon Musk has worn in the past. And since The Boys takes a crowbar to subtlety, the Musk stand-in tells Homelander he\u2019s worries about white fertility rates.<\/p>\n

But even the sociopathic supe doesn\u2019t have time for G\u00fcnter. He whisks him away to space where he dies offscreen. The whole bit lasts less than a minute.<\/p>\n

Musk responded to the finale by calling its ending<\/a> \u201cpathetic<\/a>.\u201d Showrunner Erik Kripke responded by saying \u201cI\u2019ll never get a better review ever.\u201d The cast, including Antony Starr (Homelander), Jack Quade (Hughie), and Valorie Curry (Firecracker), responded on Instagram by laughing hysterically<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Elon Musk responded by making sure everyone knew how not mad he was about the whole thing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t watch the show tbh,\u201d he wrote. Then he added that \u201cKripke probably got flack from his wife\u2019s bf for Homelander being used in based memes and had to write that ending as a groveling apology.\u201d Musk later added, \u201cI\u2019m not upset, just remarking that the ending sounds fake and gay.\u201d Then he kept tweeting about it<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In-between his racist crash-outs over Christopher Nolan\u2019s The Odyssey and reenacting the most famous dril meme ever<\/a>, Musk had time to oversee another failed SpaceX rocket launch. Nicki Minaj was at this one<\/a> for some reason, I guess. Musk is now promising to send a crytpo billionaire to Mars<\/a>. I hope they all fling themselves into the sun as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
