Musk said<\/a> the series finale for \u201cThe Boys\u201d was \u201cpathetic\u201d in response to an X post on Thursday, which argued the show used Antony Starr\u2019s Homelander as an analogue for Trump as part of a \u201cderanged sexual humiliation fantasy.\u201d<\/p>\n Series creator Eric Kripke, in response to Musk, wrote<\/a> on X: \u201cOMG this is his review of what [The Boys] did to Homelander, I\u2019ll never get a better review ever.\u201d<\/p>\n Musk responded<\/a> by noting he did not watch the show and shared another post he wrote in response to another user who criticized the series finale, in which Musk said<\/a>, \u201cKripke probably got [flak] from his wife\u2019s [boyfriend] for Homelander being used in based memes and had to write that ending as a groveling apology.\u201d<\/p>\n In response to one X user who asked Musk why he was upset by the finale, Musk concluded<\/a> he was \u201cnot upset, just remarking that the ending sounds fake and gay.\u201d<\/p>\n Why Is Elon Musk Upset About \u2018the Boys\u2019 Finale?<\/p>\n Musk\u2019s responses appeared to be a broader criticism of how \u201cThe Boys\u201d portrayed Homelander in its series finale.
