Leigh Leopards coach Adrian Lam has reacted to reports that Bailey Hodgson will leave the club, as well as rumours of him becoming the next Hull KR boss.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s understood that off-contract full-back Bailey Hodgson will leave Leigh at the end of the season and sign a deal with Hull FC<\/a> for 2027.<\/p>\n

With the Leopards hosting the Black and Whites tonight, Leigh boss Adrian Lam spoke before the match on Sky Sports and was asked about those reports, something that he pivoted away from as he insisted the focus remained on the 80 minutes ahead of him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t heard too much about, I just read that today,\u201d Lam responded.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to really comment on that at this point, we\u2019ve got a short turnaround from last week, we played well last week and we\u2019re looking forward to a nice performance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hull FC\u2019s CEO Richie Myler was also quizzed on Bailey Hodgson, with Myler unable to confirm or deny the reports, though he did express plenty of admiration for the full-back.<\/p>\n

Myler admitted: \u201cI admire Bailey Hodgson, I think he\u2019s a great player but there\u2019s nothing official for me to confirm or deny.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike I say, he\u2019s a great player, he\u2019s lightning quick and someone I admired but no, nothing to tell you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leigh Leopards boss Adrian Lam denies Hull KR links<\/p>\n

Another rumour that Sky\u2019s Jenna Brooks pushed Adrian Lam on was the prospect of him becoming the next Hull KR head coach, something that she claimed many Rovers fans had been talking about the night before when they beat Wigan Warriors.<\/p>\n

With Willie Peters leaving Craven Park at the end of the season, Hull KR need to bring in a new head coach to take the Robins forward and uphold the success that Peters has found.<\/p>\n

When asked about those rumours, Lam responded: \u201cIt\u2019s good that they\u2019re talking about us but there\u2019s nothing from that end at all.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike I said, I\u2019ve got a job here to do and I\u2019ll focus on that.\u201d<\/p>\n
