Footage has emerged of a spectator being arrested after running onto the seventh green during the second round of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred while world number one Scottie Scheffler<\/a> was playing alongside Brooks Koepka<\/a> and runaway leader Si Woo Kim<\/a> on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Video shared on Instagram by Jake Ryan (@the.jakeyannn) showed a young man, wearing sunglasses, shorts and a T-shirt promoting a cryptocurrency website, sprinting around the side of the green while shouting in an apparent attempt to get Scheffler\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n

The disruption during the PGA Tour<\/a> event staged in McKinney, Texas, came as Koepka was lining up a putt on the par-three seventh hole.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The man then ran directly across the green with his arms raised before attempting to evade a volunteer.<\/p>\n

Witnesses said the spectator had \u201cbroken through the gallery ropes and began yelling\u201d as the group prepared to finish the hole.<\/p>\n

The man was eventually wrestled to the ground by another spectator before on-course officials stepped in to escort him away from the golf course.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cheers broke out from fans surrounding the green as order was restored and play resumed.<\/p>\n

Scheffler and Koepka went on to par the hole, while Kim made birdie, which was his third in a row and fifth on the first seven holes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Despite the interruption, Scheffler remained firmly in contention at his home event after carding an impressive eight-under 63 to move into a tie for second place on 13-under par heading into the weekend.<\/p>\n

However, it was Kim who stole the show at TPC Craig Ranch.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The South Korean fired a sensational 11-under 60 \u2014 the second 60 of his PGA Tour career \u2014 to surge to 18-under par and open up a commanding five-shot lead.<\/p>\n

Kim came agonisingly close<\/a> to breaking 60 for the first time in his career before making bogey at the 18th.<\/p>\n

Kensei Hirata, Sungjae Im, Wyndham Clark and Jackson Suber joined Scheffler in a share of second place, while Koepka signed for a two-under 69 to sit at 10-under for the tournament.<\/p>\n
