The Premier League relegation battle will go right down to the final day, and deep down, we always knew it would.<\/p>\n

In a thrilling ending at the bottom end of the table, Tottenham<\/a> and West Ham<\/a> will fight to secure their top-flight status in their last games of the season against Everton<\/a> and Leeds respectively.<\/p>\n

Tottenham and West Ham both head into the final day having lost their last matches – against Chelsea and Newcastle respectively<\/p>\n

Spurs could have saved themselves from the drop against Chelsea<\/a> in midweek, but a 2-1 defeat<\/a> plunged them right back into danger.<\/p>\n

As a result, Roberto De Zerbi<\/a>‘s side remain two points above 18th-placed West Ham heading into Sunday, with it still all to play for.<\/p>\n

Tottenham’s fate is in their hands<\/a>, who realistically only need to avoid defeat to Everton, while hoping West Ham do not beat Leeds by a huge scoreline due to their 12-goal superior goal difference.<\/p>\n

While relegation for either side would be devastating, Spurs dropping down would send shockwaves across English football, with their last season outside of the top-flight coming in 1977\/78.<\/p>\n

So who goes down out of Tottenham and West Ham? The question has been floated around the talkSPORT studios…<\/p>\n

Simon Jordan: West Ham<\/p>\n

Asked who he believes will get relegated, ex-Crystal Palace owner Jordan was quick to share how he would like things to play out.<\/p>\n

Speaking on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan, he said: \u201cIf I’m being honest, I’d like to see Tottenham get relegated because I think it’d be quite funny for the incumbent ownership to have some medicine.”<\/p>\n

But Jordan’s dream scenario and his actual prediction were two very different things, as he admitted he can’t see West Ham staying up.<\/p>\n

The presenter explained: “You look at it and my belief is Spurs will stay up. <\/p>\n

“I’ve always tipped West Ham to go down. Not because I want them to go down, but I think in my mind’s eye they were always going to go down.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I think Spurs will just about have enough, one way or the other, whether it’s a lack of engagement from Everton, or whether it’s the fans dragging them across the line.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cOne way or the other, I think they’ll get across the line on the weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I’m not sure that having seen West Ham against Newcastle [in their 3-1 loss], and seeing how poor they were against Newcastle, that despite the resurgence of West Ham, where they’ve been very competitive in games and unlucky to lose to Arsenal<\/a> – I think West Ham won’t beat Leeds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Danny Murphy: Tottenham<\/p>\n

Former Tottenham midfielder Danny Murphy<\/a> was less optimistic about his old club’s chances on the final day.<\/p>\n

He told talkSPORT: \u201cI want Tottenham to stay up, but I’ve got a bad feeling they’re going to go [down].\u201d<\/p>\n

Scoring goals has been a problem for the north Londoners in recent months, with their only fit front three of Richarlison<\/a>, Mathys Tel<\/a> and Randal Kolo Muani<\/a> sharing 16 league goals between them this term.<\/p>\n

Spurs also boast a dismal home record, winning just twice at the Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> Stadium in the Premier League<\/a> in 2025\/26.<\/p>\n

Discussing Spurs’ survival chances, Murphy said: \u201cI think it’s a 50-50. I think it will be a tiny margin on the day. <\/p>\n

“A lot will depend on Tottenham’s start to the game. I think if they were to go a goal down, the nerves would kick. One of Tottenham’s biggest problems has been creativity, chances. They can’t score a goal.”<\/p>\n

While Murphy backed his former team to get a result if they take an early lead, he believes their circumstances make this more difficult.<\/p>\n

He explained: \u201cIf they score first, they’re going to get the fans on board.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s a really difficult one because playing in a game where you know a draw is enough, subconsciously you’re protecting as soon as you go on the pitch.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou need a strong manager to give you the freedom to go: \u2018No, come on, you’ve got to go and try and win this game and put it to bed\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI think West Ham will beat Leeds.”<\/p>\n

Martin Keown: Tottenham (maybe)<\/p>\n

Arsenal legend Keown was surprisingly measured on his old rivals’ relegation battle, which he discussed a day after the Gunners wrapped up the Premier League title<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sharing his relegation prediction, he told White and Jordan: \u201cThe easy answer is West Ham, isn’t it? <\/p>\n

“But I think something’s going to happen.”<\/p>\n

You might think Keown would love a twist in the tale, given Arsenal and Spurs’ fierce rivalry, but he insisted this is not the case.<\/p>\n

Asked if a relegation for Tottenham would cap off a dream season, he replied: \u201cNo, I don’t get any value in that at all.<\/p>\n

“I think really what Spurs need to do is take a leaf out of the Arsenal book, in the unity of the stadium, in their last match.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery single Spurs fan that turns up, don’t come up there to whinge and moan.”<\/p>\n

Addressing Tottenham’s supporters, Keown added: \u201cIt’s in Spurs’ hands. They’re two points clear.<\/p>\n

\u201cGo and win the game. Get behind your team. Don’t be moaning and groaning all the time. Save yourself, you’ve got a chance to save your Premier League status.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former Tottenham star Kyle Walker<\/a> was a special guest on Friday’s talkSPORT Drive ahead of joining the World Cup team this summer.<\/p>\n

And with Spurs’ final-day decider fast approaching, it was the perfect time to get the defender’s prediction, who made 299 appearances for the club in his eight-year stint in north London.<\/p>\n

Presenter Andy Goldstein quizzed: “Hand on heart. Do you think Spurs will stay up?”<\/p>\n

To this, Walker replied: \u201cI think they will get some sort of result against Everton.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just think the crowd will pull them through.
