Clara Tauson looked to be headed for her first win since 6 March when she served for the match at 5-3 in the second set against Daria Snigur in the first round of the French Open. But the 24-year old Ukrainian managed to turn the game on its head and win 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 against Tauson who again seemed to be hampered by her persistent back problems. <\/p>\n
Clara Tauson<\/a> came close, but the Danish tennis star crashed out of the French Open in the first round after losing 6-3, 5-7, 2-6 to Ukrainian Daria Snigur<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the second set, the Dane was at one point just two points away from advancing to the second round.\u00a0But instead, Snigur fought back, won the set 7-5, and forced the match into a third and decisive set where the Ukrainian had the upper hand.\u00a0<\/p>\n Towards the end of the set, Tauson seemed to be physically affected by the back problems that have troubled her throughout the season.
