\n The extensive ten-day refurbishment at Knights Templar Sports Centre has introduced new equipment, a fresh layout, brighter lighting\u00a0and a completely updated look and feel.\n<\/p>\n
\n Every piece of equipment in the gym has been replaced, and the facility now boasts new cardio and weights machines equipped with the latest technology.\n<\/p>\n
\n These changes, along with the introduction of more functional training options, aim to enhance the fitness experience for gym-goers.\n<\/p>\n

\n Sarah Wright, general manager at Knights Templar Sports Centre, said: “It\u2019s fantastic to see the transformation complete and the gym doors back open.\n<\/p>\n
\n “This upgrade delivers a high-quality, inclusive fitness space that will benefit both the school and the wider community for years to come.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The refurbishment has also paid attention to accessibility, with machines adapted for wheelchair users, including a chest press, shoulder press, seated row\u00a0and a removable-seat hand bike.\n<\/p>\n
\n Other new additions to the gym include a multi-cable machine and a chest and pec fly machine.\n<\/p>\n

\n The 40-station gym has been restructured to provide more space in the free weights area and improve overall accessibility.\n<\/p>\n
\n Alongside the new re-equipment, visitors will also notice a modern new flooring and a completely fresh look throughout the space.\n<\/p>\n
\n The refurbishment follows Everyone Active taking over management of the centre on April 1.\n<\/p>\n
\n It also comes after the completion of a major resurfacing of the centre\u2019s floodlit 3G pitch, which reopened to the public on June 16.\n<\/p>\n

\n John Swift, school business manager at The Knights Templar School, said: “We are delighted with the new state-of-the-art fitness suite that was installed this week.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Together with the recent resurfacing of the Astro turf pitch, we now have first-class sports facilities to be enjoyed by the school and the local community.\n<\/p>\n
\n “On behalf of The Knights Templar School, huge thanks to our partners Everyone Active for their support and investment since taking on the sports centre contract in April.”\n<\/p>\n
