Top trainer Abel Sanchez has revealed his prediction for the long-awaited heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury<\/a> and Anthony Joshua<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pair are expected to collide later this year, possibly in October or November, with \u2018AJ\u2019 first needing to take care of Kristian Prenga on July 25.<\/p>\n

This represents his first outing since scoring a sixth-round finish over Jake Paul in December,<\/a> which followed his fifth-round stoppage defeat to Daniel Dubois<\/a> in September 2024.<\/p>\n

It has also been just under five months since Joshua was involved in a tragic car crash, leaving him to mourn the loss of his close friends.<\/p>\n

Fury, meanwhile, is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov<\/a> last month, when he ended a 16-month layoff after losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n

Yet despite having returned to action, the 37-year-old is now pushing for a second warm-up fight in August, with the likes of Jarrell Miller<\/a> and Andy Ruiz Jr having been mentioned as possible opponents<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In any case, former Gennady Golovkin trainer Sanchez has always backed Fury to defeat Joshua, telling Pro Boxing Fans<\/a> that he sees no reason to change his mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cTyson has already got a fight under his belt. Anthony\u2019s had some difficult personal problems as of late, so that could be a determining factor in how he [approaches] the fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully everything\u2019s okay with him and it\u2019ll be a great fight. I still pick Tyson to win \u2013 I\u2019ve always picked Tyson to win against Joshua. Fury\u2019s one of those fighters that gets up for the opponent.\u201d<\/p>\n
