A flight attendant has\u00a0warned people to stop wearing this ‘disgusting’ clothing item on aeroplanes- saying you will get a ‘staph infection’.<\/p>\n

Dallas-based air hostess Cher<\/a> Killough, who has worked in the industry for six years, recently took to TikTok<\/a> to recommend the perfect travel outfit.<\/p>\n

Sharing a video<\/a> to her page, @cherdallas<\/a>, the cabin crew claimed wearing shorts on board an aircraft should be ‘banned’ since it exposes your skin to the seating.<\/p>\n

In the clip, which racked up over 11,000 views, she said: ‘I’m a firm believer in no shorts ever, you’re not allowed to wear shorts, sorry disgusting, your skin is touching the seat, it’s nasty, it’s dirty you’re going to get a staph infection.’<\/p>\n

Instead, Cher recommends opting for a practical and comfortable outfit that still keeps you covered.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her go-to travel uniform includes loose-fitting trousers, trainers, a simple T-shirt, and a jumper to cover your shoulders and keep you warm during chilly flights.<\/p>\n

‘This is the perfect travel outfit no matter what,’ she declared.<\/p>\n

Cher went onto list some of the other practical travel outfits she approves of.<\/p>\n

She said:\u00a0‘Long sundresses, I have seen girls rock the SKIMS dress in the airport, they look so cute and put together.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Any variation of a long dress like this is cute, and your legs are covered, they’re not touching the seat,’ she added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The flight attendant suggested adding a pair of trainers and a cardigan or jumper for added comfort.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Cher said a long skirt is another alternative if you didn’t want to wear leggings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She added: ‘I shockingly approve of long skirts too… would I have my toes out? Absolutely not. But with sneakers, this would be perfect.<\/p>\n

‘Any variation of a matching set in the airport looks so good and clean.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lastly, Cher said she approves of people wearing a full\u00a0hazmat suit onboard, saying she has seen it ‘many times on the plane’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She added: ‘I completely appreciate the dedication to the look. When I see assume people have watched my videos about how filthy the plane is.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

It comes after Cher called out bad in-flight etiquette – and took aim at people who don’t shower before early flights in particular.<\/a><\/p>\n

Branding this behavior ‘unacceptable’ in her TikTok video, Cher said she thinks travelers should ‘go to prison’ for not showering before getting on a plane.<\/p>\n

In the clip, she said: ‘There is zero reason that I should be smelling a stranger’s body odour radiating off their warm body at five o’clock in the morning.<\/p>\n

‘And it’s always men, sometimes it’s ladies who are having a lady problem that nobody told them about, but usually it’s men.<\/p>\n

As well as revealing what not to wear on a flight, the flight attendant and content creator shared the outfits she approves of<\/p>\n

She added: ‘Wash yourself! You are going to be shoulder to shoulder with strangers. Show up clean or don’t come at all.’<\/p>\n

Elsewhere Cher revealed another annoying habit is when people play music and other noises out loud on their phones or iPad.<\/p>\n

She said: ‘It’s no one else’s problem except yours that you didn’t charge your earpods or you didn’t bring headphones.<\/p>\n

Why are you making it everyone else’s problem around you? I don’t care if your kid is going to cry because they can’t listen to Cocomelon on full blast – that is less annoying than hearing it off their iPad.’<\/p>\n

People took to the comment section to leave their own thoughts, with some agreeing with the flight attendant.<\/p>\n

One person said: ‘The body odor thing is absolutely, however if they are on this flight because another was cancelled or something and they had to sleep at the airport. maybe hand out body wipes….’<\/p>\n

Another added: ‘Ever had to run twenty minutes to a connecting flight with luggage in tow? You\u2019ll sweat, my dear, and there may be an odour.’<\/p>\n

To which Cher replied: ‘Wear deodorant ?? It’s pretty simple, it works in a preventative way.’<\/p>\n
