Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband, Michael Douglas, are bursting with pride as their daughter Cary Douglas<\/a> lands her first big role.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old is following in her mum and dad’s footsteps, two of the biggest actors in Hollywood, and we have a feeling their daughter may be on the cusp of the same title.<\/p>\n

Since deciding to become an actress, Catherine and Michael have been nothing but supportive of her and encouraging her online, particularly on social media. <\/p>\n

According to The Daily Mail<\/a>, Cary will be taking to the stage in a new production of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull and will be opening next month in New York City.<\/p>\n

Carly will take on the role of Nina, an ambitious young actress caught up in a complicated love triangle. This role has been taken on by some big names in the past. <\/p>\n

Saoirse Ronan, Emilia Clarke, Carey Mulligan, and Helen Mirren have all successfully played this part in the past. <\/p>\n

A source close to the family told the publication that mum and dad are immensely proud. <\/p>\n

Cary has a degree from Brown University in Rhode Island. Only graduating last year, she has already landed a big role! <\/p>\n
