Tottenham Hotspur hero Joao Palhinha<\/a> reportedly wants to move to Sporting CP, despite Spurs<\/a> having the option to make his loan move permanent. The midfielder is on loan from Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old scored what turned out to be the goal<\/a> that ensured Spurs\u2019 Premier League<\/a> survival on the final day of the season. His strike saw his side come out as 1-0 winners over Everton, condemning West Ham to the Championship despite their 3-0 win over Leeds.<\/p>\n

Following an inquest into the disappointment of the season that has just gone, planning for the summer will already be underway. Palhinha\u2019s future needs to be sorted out.<\/p>\n

A Bola <\/a>reports that Tottenham have the option to make his loan from Bayern permanent for a \u20ac30 million (\u00a325.9m). However, for a deal to be completed, they will need the go-ahead from Palhinha himself.<\/p>\n

The report says that talks between the player and Sporting have been \u2018going well\u2019. It\u2019s added that Palhinha refused to tell Spurs of his desire to leave before their place in the Premier League next season was secured.<\/p>\n

When asked if he wanted to keep the Portugal international at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season, Roberto De Zerbi said<\/a> : \u201cYes I would like to keep him, 100 per cent.<\/p>\n
