{"id":604502,"date":"2026-05-26T09:20:10","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T09:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/604502\/"},"modified":"2026-05-26T09:20:10","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T09:20:10","slug":"tetris-99s-latest-crossover-event-celebrates-yoshis-new-game-unlock-a-special-theme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/604502\/","title":{"rendered":"Tetris 99&#8217;s Latest Crossover Event Celebrates Yoshi&#8217;s New Game, Unlock A Special Theme"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the arrival of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/yoshi-and-the-mysterious-book\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yoshi and the Mysterious Book<\/a> on the Switch 2 last week, Nintendo has announced the 54th cup event for its Switch Online battle royale title <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/tetris_99\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tetris 99<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This in-game event will begin later this week on 29th May 2026 and runs until 1st June 2026. As usual, if you earn 100 event points during this period, you&#8217;ll be able to unlock a special theme featuring unique art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by Yoshi&#8217;s new game.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, to participate in the fun, you&#8217;ll need to have a Nintendo Account and an active Switch Online membership.
