Katie Price has claimed her ‘missing’ husband Lee Andrews was last seen in the back of a van where he FaceTimed her and she later said he text to say he’d been arrested<\/p>\n

Lee Andrews is not being hunted by international police a source has told the Mirror<\/a> – as mystery continues to surround the sudden disappearance of Katie Price’s husband, who has not been seen now for 11 days.<\/p>\n

Missing Lee was meant to appear on Good Morning Britain<\/a> with Katie but failed to a board his flight. Later, Katie claimed that she received a FaceTime call from the self-styled businessman, where he said his hands had been ‘cable-tied’ and that he’d been bundled into the back of a van.<\/p>\n

Later, the mum-of-five shared the last text messages she said she had received from her husband’s phone, with one message reading: “Been arrested, I\u2019ll be in touch.”<\/p>\n

It had been claimed that Lee was being sought by Interpol but a source tells the Mirror that\u2019s not the case, adding that if he is being held by authorities in the United Arab Emirates it’s not likely to be due to a report that was first received by Hertfordshire Police earlier this year.<\/p>\n

In a statement given to The Mirror today, Hertfordshire Police said: “We\u2019d like to clarify that Hertfordshire Constabulary received a report in March, however, once it was established the alleged offences happened in Dubai, we referred this case to the relevant authorities as this was outside of our jurisdiction.”<\/p>\n

In a recent YouTube<\/a> video, Katie claimed that Lee said that his “kidnappers” have taken two of his phones but that he had a secret third one that he was using to contact her. The video was filmed a day after Lee went missing.<\/p>\n

Being filming relaying messages to an unknown person over the phone, Katie claims he told her: “They\u2019ve taken two of my phones. They don\u2019t know I\u2019m on this phone.” She added: “So he said, \u2018I\u2019ll just let you know I\u2019ve been arrested. If they ring you.'”<\/p>\n

Katie explained: “He wrote a text quick. I mean, I\u2019m hope he\u2019s all right, but I don\u2019t know,” before showing herself leaving a voice note for her father-in-law, whose number Lee gave her just moments before he disappeared.<\/p>\n

Since then, his dad has claimed that his son is not missing but is actually locked up in prison instead. He said over the weekend: “Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don\u2019t know on what charge. I\u2019m not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today.”<\/p>\n

Katie later branded that announcement “fake news”. She said: “Lee is still missing. Me and his family know what\u2019s going on and working with the authorities involved.”<\/p>\n
