{"id":605604,"date":"2026-05-26T23:05:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T23:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/605604\/"},"modified":"2026-05-26T23:05:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T23:05:09","slug":"derek-chisora-confirms-that-he-will-return-for-one-man","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/605604\/","title":{"rendered":"Derek Chisora Confirms That He Will Return for One Man"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/topic\/dereck-chisora\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Derek Chisora<\/a> could well be tempted back to the ring yet again if one man agrees to be in the opposite corner.<\/p>\n<p>Chisora is now well into his forties and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/news\/chisora-update-on-his-current-status\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">always promised that he would walk away from the sport after 50 fights.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>His 50th contest came against the former WBC ruler and notorious American puncher Deontay Wilder. Although \u2018Del Boy\u2019 managed to avoid being knocked out, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sport\/boxing\/videos\/cx29xwevjywo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">he took plenty of punishment across the 12 rounds and lost a split decision back in early April at The O2 Arena in London.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Seconds Out, Chisora admitted there is one man who would get him back in the ring for a 51st fight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight now, I\u2019m thinking. You know what, f**k it, yes. I\u2019ll be honest with you, I\u2019m going to come back and fight Wilder for the rematch. He might be complaining saying A and B and C but really and truly, if I don\u2019t do it I know I might come back in 10 years time and I don\u2019t want to do it in 10 years time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe the fight was unfair on both fighters. I know most people are like \u2018oh, we\u2019re worried about him,\u2019 I see the comments. Thank you very much for worrying about me but listen, I want the rematch. The rematch is going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chisora was knocked down twice in the fight but believes neither was legitimate and that he was in fact pushed over.
