{"id":606828,"date":"2026-05-27T15:32:11","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T15:32:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/606828\/"},"modified":"2026-05-27T15:32:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T15:32:11","slug":"manchester-airport-live-updates-as-incident-resolved-and-disruption-eases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/606828\/","title":{"rendered":"Manchester Airport LIVE updates as incident resolved and disruption eases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Manchester Airport said the upper and lower forecourt of T2 remain closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Additional staff are now being deployed around the airport site to manage traffic flow and to direct passengers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">There are also going to be additional buses allocated for passengers using the free drop-off area at Jet Parks 1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Giving advice to travellers, the airport said those heading to Terminal 2 by road, are advised to instead use the free drop-off area in Jet Parks 1 until further notice, with marshals on site there to give advice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">For picking up, people are asked to use the Terminal 2 West multi-storey car park via Sydney Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Terminal three remains unaffected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The airport also added: &#8220;Please allow plenty of time to travel to and from the airport.
