Having captured the WBO super-middleweight title on Saturday, Hamzah Sheeraz<\/a> is eyeing up the biggest and best possible fights, and there is one bout on his mind which he believes will silence any doubters.<\/p>\n

Sheeraz has impressed since moving up to the super-middleweight division, brutally dispatching of Edgar Berlanga with a fifth-round KO on his debut in a performance of the year candidate, before claiming the WBO title by halting Alem Begic inside two rounds this past weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, Sheeraz is being linked to unification fights with WBA champion Jaime Munguia and the winner of Christian Mbilli against Saul \u2018Canelo\u2019 Alvarez for the WBC belt, but the Brit told Ring Magazine<\/a> that a rematch with Carlos Adames is also of interest.<\/p>\n

\u201c100% [I want the rematch]. Because I don\u2019t speak about it much and I don\u2019t entertain his Twitter conversations and whatnot, people think \u2018oh, he is closed to the idea of having that\u2019, but listen, once the fight gets presented to me \u2013 we will go.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be similar to the Berlanga fight, do you know what I mean? Where I shut up all of the critics and then I will be like, \u2018Now what? What is next?\u2019. It is just one of them, it\u2019s nowhere I haven\u2019t been before.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheeraz\u2019s controversial draw with Adames last year is the sole blemish on his 23-0-1 record and was the main reason behind his move up from the middleweight division, with the weight having had a clear impact on his performance in that contest.<\/p>\n

Adames has announced that he will soon relinquish the WBC middleweight crown and follow Sheeraz up to the super-middleweight scene<\/a>, opening the door for a return fight.
