Ronda Rousey believes she’d beat Holly Holm in any rematch now, but is firmly focused on retirement.<\/p>\n

The American superstar won in just 17 seconds<\/a> in the historic event, leaving the millions of fans tuned in<\/a> worldwide wanting more.<\/p>\n

But she had declared before the fight that it would be a one-off comeback, and she held firm in her post-fight assessment.<\/p>\n

Rousey’s famous rival Holly Holm<\/a>, who brutally knocked her out in the UFC<\/a> in in 2015, is back in action this week.<\/p>\n

She suggested she’d be open at any time to a clash with her famous foe either in MMA or boxing.<\/p>\n

Rousey believes she’d get her revenge in her current form, but has no interest in actively pursuing the second clash.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI said I\u2019m retired, A, and B, I think that I\u2019m a completely different fighter now, and I would clean her clock.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I definitely have the ability and the opportunity to be able to clean her clock and rewrite all of that, but it\u2019s no longer important to me anymore. <\/p>\n

“It doesn\u2019t haunt me. It\u2019s not the most important thing in my life, and these people\u2019s perceptions and people knowing how great I am, and all this stuff. <\/p>\n

“I know how good I am, and my kids need me in their lives, and I want to be there for them, and this isn\u2019t the most important thing anymore. <\/p>\n

“And of course, the time that I get where I can now go back and do that, I don\u2019t want to go back, I only want to go forward.”<\/p>\n

Rousey now has two children, and wants to focus on motherhood rather than her ventures in combat sports.<\/p>\n

Holm: Rousey won’t accept rematch anyway<\/p>\n

For Holm, she is currently focusing on her endeavours in the boxing ring.<\/p>\n

She will rematch Stephanie Han this weekend for the WBA lightweight title.<\/p>\n

But afterwards, a rematch with Rousey would likely be a huge opportunity for Holm if her rival could be persuaded.<\/p>\n

Although Holm deems it unlikely that it will happen.<\/p>\n

She explained: \u201cYes, a lot of talk with the Ronda fight. I highly doubt she\u2019ll ever want a rematch. <\/p>\n
