{"id":610577,"date":"2026-05-29T15:56:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T15:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/610577\/"},"modified":"2026-05-29T15:56:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T15:56:09","slug":"two-adults-and-a-child-die-after-fall-from-london-high-rise-building-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/610577\/","title":{"rendered":"Two adults and a child die after fall from London high-rise building | London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">A man, a woman and a child have died after falling from a high-rise block of flats in south London, the Metropolitan police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Scotland Yard said officers were called at 7.29am on Wednesday to reports that people had fallen from a height in Elephant and Castle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The three people had died at the scene despite attempts to resuscitate them and the deaths were being treated as \u201cunexpected\u201d, the force said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">A London ambulance service spokesperson said:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">\u201cWe sent a number of resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast-response car, an incident response officer and paramedics from our hazardous area response team (Hart). We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London\u2019s air ambulance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">\u201cOur first paramedic arrived in around four minutes.
