Cork’s Sara Byrne holds second position in the clubhouse after a second-round 69 at the Jabra Ladies Open de France.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old opened with a 68 and followed it up with another excellent round to move to five-under par, good enough for second spot with the afternoon wave to come ahead of Saturday\u2019s finale.<\/p>\n

Germany\u2019s Helen Briem \u2013 runner-up last year – holds the clubhouse lead on eight-under par after a stunning 65 on Friday.<\/p>\n

Anna Foster was another early starter, with her second-round 71 leaving her on two-over par and in a sweat to make the top 60 for Saturday\u2019s final day.<\/p>\n
