Donegal Golf Club was the venue for Breid Kelly\u2019s Captain\u2019s Prize and the 5th outing of the Donegal ETB Golf Society for the 2025\/26 season.<\/p>\n

Captain\u2019s Prize<\/p>\n

With the course in excellent condition, the strong breeze presented a challenge for all players with only 1pt separating the top five golfers.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Alex Harkin on winning the Captain\u2019s Prize with a score of 34pts, just edging out Eamonn McDonnell on a B.O.T.<\/p>\n

Seamus Clerkin, Patsy McVicar and Mary Harkin all finished on 33pts with Seamus taking 3rd place on a B.O.T. from Patsy. Mary Harkin completed the top five places.<\/p>\n

Golfer of the Year <\/p>\n

In the race for the coveted \u201cGolfer of the Year\u201d trophy, John Bosco Gallagher holds an almost unassailable lead on 81pts, followed by Mary Harkin on 57pts.<\/p>\n

Mary McGrath on 56pts, Alex Harkin on 55pts and Hugo Dorrian on 51pts. complete the top five places.<\/p>\n

Patsy McVicar is in a strong position at the top with 14pts. Eamonn McDonnell is in 2nd place on 12pts. Paddy Kelly on 11pts, Alex Harkin on 10pts. and Aidan Guthrie on 9pts. complete the top 5 places.
Retired Staff\/Past Captain\u2019s Prize<\/p>\n

The retired staff category prize went to Paddy Kelly with 27pts. and the past Captain\u2019s prize went to Elaine Russell on 28pts. The Captain\u2019s guest prize was won by Murvagh Ladies Captain, Margaret Hynes with 38pts.<\/p>\n

Brona Duddy secured the front nine with an excellent 21pts and Ciaran Ferry secured the back nine with 17pts.<\/p>\n
