It\u2019s been 30 years since Toy Story<\/a> premiered, but your childhood dream of visiting Pizza Planet is finally about to become reality \u2014\u00a0at least for one weekend.<\/p>\n Papa Johns has announced a pop-up in Shoreditch, East London, inspired by the iconic arcade pizzeria first seen in Pixar\u2019s 1995 film. <\/a><\/p>\n The new venue is designed to transport fans to the iconic location, with plenty of references to Buzz Lightyear<\/a> and Woody, and of course, \u2018The Clawwww\u2019.<\/p>\n It\u2019s been made in collaboration with Disney and Pixar, ahead of release of Toy Story 5 on June 19, where the gang will try to overcome the rise of tablets.<\/p>\n There\u2019s a couple of glaring issues though \u2014 the first being that children are banned from entering the building. Yes, really. <\/p>\n What\u2019s on at the event?<\/p>\n Set inside White Rabbit Studios, the temporary venue is designed to recreate the retro-futuristic feel of Pizza Planet, <\/a>complete with arcade games, claw machines, oversized screens and photo spots.<\/p>\n Entry will be completely free across the weekend, with tickets available online. You\u2019ll have to leave the kids at home though, because the event is strictly for adults over the age of 18.<\/p>\n There will be prizes up for grabs throughout the two-day event, including movie tickets, branded merchandise and even a year\u2019s supply of pizza.<\/p>\n The opening times<\/a> are 12pm-8pm on Saturday June 13 and 11.30am 5.30pm on Sunday June 14.\u00a0<\/p>\n \t\t Papa Johns is also introducing two Toy Story-inspired pizzas<\/a> \u2013 Sheriff\u2019s Roundup and Reach for the Pie \u2013 alongside limited-edition packaging, collectibles and merchandise.<\/p>\n The Sheriff\u2019s Round Up uses \u2018original dough\u2019 with BBQ sauce, mozzarella, grilled chicken and mushroom for the toppings.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tHey, foodies! On Instagram<\/a> @thosegarciagirls said: \u2018I found dinner for tonight!\u2019 while @disway80 added: \u2018This collab is truly a childhood dream come true!\u2019.<\/p>\n A third poster, @ontheredcarpet, added: \u2018To infinity and\u2026 pizza!!!!\u2019<\/p>\n But the lack of allergy options, plus the strict age restricion, has not gone unnoticed. <\/p>\n \u2018Why would you guys collab with a literally movie made for CHILDREN and make the event 18+ and older? How does that make sense?\u2019@naatthaalieee asked.<\/p>\n Another parent, @LunaSnowMain, added: \u2018You really can\u2019t bring kids to this?\u2019<\/p>\n It seems this is one for the Disney adults only.
