Promising action title Blood Message<\/a> is the first game confirmed to be appearing in the Summer Game Fest<\/a> livestream taking place this Friday, 5th June.<\/p>\n

From the Naraka: Bladepoint<\/a> team 24 Entertainment, the game was first shown off a year ago<\/a> and drew comparisons to Uncharted<\/a>. This week, 12 months after its reveal, our next glimpse will be on the SGF stage.<\/p>\n

The drums still thunder from the walls.<\/p>\n

The blood on the blade has yet to dry.<\/p>\n

It is confirmed for a console release, so a PS5 version is highly likely \u2014 the platforms Blood Message is releasing on will probably be part of this week’s reveal.<\/p>\n

A “single player action adventure” game, it has been described as a “truly epic and cinematic experience” that will explore ancient China during the final years of the Tang Dynasty. Here’s the original announcement trailer as a reminder:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Off the back of Black Myth: Wukong<\/a>, and with the anticipated Phantom Blade Zero<\/a> closing in on its September release, action titles from China are demonstrating their ability to offer high-quality game experiences. From what’s been shown so far, Blood Message could well continue that.<\/p>\n
