Channel 4 Tip Toe has only just arrived but already it’s taking a break from our screens.<\/p>\n

Created by It\u2019s A Sin<\/a> and Doctor Who<\/a> mastermind, Tip Toe sees gay bar owner Leo (played by Alan Cumming) and electrician Clive (David Morrissey<\/a>) turn against one another after 15 years of living side by side.<\/p>\n

But what starts out as simply not getting along turns into a far more precarious situation for both of them.<\/p>\n

Channel 4 Tip Toe episode release schedule<\/p>\n

Tip Toe made its Channel 4 debut on Sunday, May 31, at 9pm, with episode two airing this evening, Monday, June 1 in the same time slot.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, fans are now going to have to wait a little while longer for the rest of the drama to air.<\/p>\n

Episode three, four and five are going to be shown over three consecutive nights from Sunday, June 7, to Tuesday, May 9, at 9pm, on Channel 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first two episodes are now currently ready for streaming on Channel 4 and the remaining three will be ready on June 7.<\/p>\n

While Tip Toe focuses on prejudice and hate crimes towards the LGBTQ+ community, creator Russell T Davies believes that the same level of abuse occurs among other groups.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the screening for the Channel 4 drama, Davies said:<\/p>\n

“I think it’s a crisis happening day after day \u2013 and it’s anyone.<\/p>\n

“Everyone’s being weaponised against [each other]. You could make a Jewish version of this drama, you could make a disabled version of this drama, women could make this drama.<\/p>\n

“I see straight white men who could make this drama, feeling marginalised.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s the temperature of the dialogue and the argument and the pitch of it \u2013 all driven by our phones \u2013 that’s alarming me greatly.”<\/p>\n
