\n\tJoe and Anthony Russo<\/a> hit the Deadline\u2019s Reality TV Summit UK<\/a> at SXSW London<\/a> on Tuesday in the company of AGBO partner Donald Mustard<\/a> and Avengers: Doomsday<\/a> and Avengers: Secret Wars<\/a> collaborator. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe trio confirmed they are currently in the throes of post-production on Avengers: Doomsday and pre-production on Avengers: Secret Wars ahead of respective planned releases in December 2026 and December 2027 releases.<\/p>\n

\n\tQuizzed on whether they planned to work on future Avenger films, Anthony Russo suggested that had not other Avenger films in the pipeline but did not rule out future Marvel collaborations.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen we did Endgame we were like, we\u2019ve completed it. It was our fourth Marvel film though. We had completed a story arc that we began in the Winter Soldier and for us it was very much intended to be an ending,\u201d said Anthony Russo<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSo, I will say this. The stories that we\u2019re focused on now are complete. Doomsday and Secret Wars speak with one another as two films and they form a complete expression. Whether or not we all collaborate with Marvel beyond that is certainly a possibility, but right now, the vision, the narrative vision is just for Secret Wars.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re going to see what we look like in photos in 2028 and then we\u2019ll let you know,\u201d joked Joe Russo<\/a>, who also gave a small update on where they are at with both films.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe are doing some work still on Doomsday and will be until probably they rip it out of our hands in November and that just means they have to give it to other people, to finish it for a few weeks, and then we\u2019re in the middle of what we would call pre-production\u2026 we like doing many things at the same time,\u201d said Joe Russo. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Avenger movies see the Russo Brothers<\/a>\u2019 AGBO company collaborate once again with Marvel Studios parent company the Walt Disney Studios.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOur relationship with Marvel has built over many years now and there\u2019s been a very fruitful relationship. We\u2019ve done some of our best work with Marvel. We really value the relationship and I think they really value what we have brought to the MCU,\u201d said Anthony Russo.<\/p>\n

\n\tFormer Fortnite creator and Epic Games Chief Creative Officer Mustard, who joined AGBO in 2023 to help oversee the company\u2019s push into interactive and immersive experiences, hinted interactive elements are in the works for Avengers: Doomsday. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe were all there together kind of figuring out what that movie is and what is going to be seen this Christmas. It\u2019s just an amazing partnership and we\u2019re building all sorts of things together that kind of fuse our approach to telling stories,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tJoe Russo said the company was 100% committed to the interactive drive and that he foresaw the merging of the interactive and linear worlds speeding up. He cited recent box office hit Backrooms<\/a>, spinning off director Kane Parsons\u2019 viral YouTube channel exploring the concept of\u00a0extra-dimensional empty rooms, accessed by exiting\u00a0reality.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBackrooms is really interesting because it was a mythology created collectively on the internet that then turned into a collective mythology that then turned into a film that did astronomically well.
