Hall of Famer Tim Bradley<\/a> believes he knows exactly why Canelo Alvarez<\/a> will avoid facing one fighter in particular at all costs.<\/p>\n

Mexican great Canelo has been out of action since he suffered the third defeat of his professional career to former pound-for-pound star Terence \u2018Bud\u2019 Crawford last September. <\/a><\/p>\n

Alvarez was dethroned of his undisputed super-middleweight championship when he faced Crawford at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, a shock defeat that sent shockwaves through the sport.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old from Guadalajara underwent successful elbow surgery shortly after the bout and is now set to make his return to action later this year against WBC super-middleweight champion Christian Mbilli.<\/p>\n

Another fighter that has been linked with a showdown with Alvarez over the last few years is three-weight world champion David Benavidez, who at one point was the mandatory challenger to the Mexican\u2019s WBC super-middleweight crown.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his YouTube channel,<\/a> two-weight world champion Bradley claims he isn\u2019t surprised that Canelo is yet to face Benavidez as he admits he wouldn\u2019t want to fight \u2018The Mexican Monster\u2019 after he put on a \u2018hell of a performance\u2019 against Gilberto Ramirez.<\/p>\n

\u201cCanelo, I know why your ass don\u2019t wanna fight that. Canelo, I know that. S**t, I wouldn\u2019t wanna fight that motherf***er either Canelo. Benavidez put on a hell of a performance.\u201d<\/p>\n
