Earlier this year, Nadiya Bychkova<\/a> confirmed that she wouldn\u2019t be returning as a professional dancer on BBC<\/a>\u2019s Strictly Come Dancing<\/a>.<\/p>\n It came at the time of a rumoured behind-the-scenes bloodbath<\/a> which saw a shake-up of the pros line-up on the channel\u2019s flagship Saturday night show<\/a>. <\/p>\n Nadiya, 36, wrote on Instagram<\/a> in March: \u2018After 9 wonderful years, this part of my journey with Strictly Come Dancing is evolving.\u2019 <\/p>\n Now, she has given us a taste of what that could look like. <\/p>\n Speaking with Hello<\/a>, Nadiya said that she would \u2018absolutely\u2019 consider returning to the BBC show. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on Strictly\t\t\t<\/p>\n Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro\u2019s TV Newsletter.<\/p>\n Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your show in the link we\u2019ll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you.<\/p>\n She told the publication that \u2018it is absolutely [on the cards]\u2019, adding: \u2018We are talking about, hopefully in the future, me coming and choreographing some of the pro numbers.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \u2018The team have known for years how passionate I am about creating things and choreographing. Lots of producers came to watch shows that I did myself.\u2019 <\/p>\n She called it the \u2018natural\u2019 thing to do, as this is where her passions lie, and admitted it would be \u2018beautiful\u2019 to see some of her \u2018creations and stories\u2019 that she wants to tell through dance, on the show one day. <\/p>\n The 36-year-old was last partnered up with Chris Robshaw<\/a>, but the pair were eliminated during week four.<\/p>\n During the 2021 season of the hugely popular dance competition, Nadiya waltzed her way into the quarter-finals with broadcaster Dan Walker<\/a> and finished in fifth place.<\/p>\n She enjoyed a romance with Strictly professional Kai Widdrington for two years during their time on the programme, before separating in 2024.<\/p>\n The pair continued to appear on the 2025 series together following their separation, and Kai will return for 2026.<\/p>\n \t\t After nearly a decade on the show, Nadiya formed strong bonds with former hosts Claudia Winkleman<\/a> and Tess Daly<\/a>, and revealed to the magazine that they\u2019re reaching out to each other all the time. <\/p>\n But she\u2019s no doubt that the new trio<\/a> will \u2018bring something fresh and exciting\u2019 to Strictly. <\/p>\n Last month it was announced<\/a> that Josh Widdicombe, Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe<\/a> were new hosts of the glitzy show after Tess and Claudia made their shock departure announcement.<\/a><\/p>\n BBC\u2019s chief content officer, Kate Phillips, praised the newbies for their \u2018undeniable\u2019 chemistry and said they had chosen \u2018three outstanding hosts to take up the mantle\u2019.<\/p>\n Nadiya is pleased to see one of her fellow professional dancers take on a new role within the same show, adding that they all \u2018evolve creatively\u2019.<\/p>\n Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One this autumn.<\/p>\n Got a story?<\/p>\n If you\u2019ve got a celebrity story, video or pictures get in touch with the Metro.co.uk<\/a> entertainment team by emailing us celebtips@metro.co.uk, calling 020 3615 2145 or by visiting our Submit Stuff<\/a> page \u2013 we\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n Arrow Arrow Arrow![\"TX](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/SEI_288472163-2039.jpg\")
