\n Wally, an eight-month-old wallaby, escaped from SCNE – At the Farm in Leadgate, Consett, on Saturday (May 31) afternoon.\n<\/p>\n
\n His owners believe he was frightened and ran off after a member of the public climbed over a fence into the area where he was staying with his brother.\n<\/p>\n

\n Since then, several attempts have been made to bring Wally back, but he remains missing.\n<\/p>\n
\n He was spotted at Prospect Business Park on Monday (June 2) and was also caught on dashcam footage near the A692 Leadgate Bypass over the weekend.\n<\/p>\n
\n In a social media appeal, the farm said Wally was last seen near the A692 and urged people not to chase him.\n<\/p>\n
\n The post said: “Please do not chase him, you will get him killed.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The farm added: “We would really appreciate anyone keeping us in the loop on his whereabouts. Or even better, someone being able to help him home. His brother misses him.”\n<\/p>\n
\n SCNE – At the Farm is a therapy farm where children with disabilities can spend time with animals and help with jobs around the farm.\n<\/p>\n
\n Photos and videos of Wally have been shared on social media as the search continues.\n<\/p>\n
