Josh Griffin has announced the end of his 18-year rugby league career following an injury which has sidelined him for the rest of York Knights’ season.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old former Hull FC player sustained a pectoral muscle rupture which ruled him out for at least four months, and has called time on a senior career which began with Wakefield Trinity in 2008.<\/p>\n

Griffin also played for Huddersfield Giants, Castleford Tigers, Batley Bulldogs and Salford Red Devils, but it was with the Black and Whites he had his career highlights.<\/p>\n
