If you&#8217;re unfamiliar, it sees a show home erected in the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, where some of the very best <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/features\/british-interior-designers\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/features\/british-interior-designers\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/features\/british-interior-designers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">British designers<\/a>, alongside designers from across the globe work, hand in hand with prestige interior brands to create carte blanche rooms, setting the tone for true creativity in design.<\/p>\n<p>These rooms often prove an outlet for interior designers&#8217; most interesting, out-there, experimental ideas, and are filled with small, impactful details that you can get up close and experience during a walkthrough at the Design Centre.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-99179d09-a7ac-4185-9be3-b63c4e81c5fe-2\">With designers including Studio Enass, R\u00f3is\u00edn Lafferty, Russell Sage, and more taking on rooms at this year&#8217;s <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dcch.co.uk\/wowhouse\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.dcch.co.uk\/wowhouse\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">WOW!house<\/a>, here are some of the biggest takeaways from team Livingetc from the showcase.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-1-silky-textures\"\/>1. Design: Elicyon)<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-83d06bfd-a67d-4e21-b1bc-9c3f449d8c5e\">One of the spaces from this year&#8217;s WOW!house that instantly stands out for its glamor is the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/uk.lalique.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/uk.lalique.com\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lalique<\/a> Bar, designed by <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.elicyon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.elicyon.com\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Elicyon<\/a>. Named &#8216;Box of Delights&#8217;, it&#8217;s a small but richly decorated <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/ideas\/home-bar-ideas\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/ideas\/home-bar-ideas\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/ideas\/home-bar-ideas\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">home bar<\/a> that impresses with its materiality, but especially the use of silk textures. &#8220;The use of bamboo silk throughout the room really stood out,&#8221; says Designlab by Livingetc stylist Miaad Latoof, who recently visited WOW!house, &#8220;from the ceiling to the chandeliers and wall insets.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Elicyon specifically chose bamboo silk because the softness and natural imperfection made the space feel more tactile,&#8221; she adds. &#8220;It also created this beautiful sense of repetition, letting your eye move gently throughout the room.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>            You may like<\/p>\n<p>Aside from this <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/ideas\/wallpaper-trends-2026\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/ideas\/wallpaper-trends-2026\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/ideas\/wallpaper-trends-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">wallpaper trend<\/a>, interesting textures abound throughout the WOW!house rooms, and contrasts in materials, between the matte and the polished, the textured and the smooth, were an important recurring theme.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-2-soft-green-palettes\"\/>2. However, the intriguing use of tassels, in particular, was a design moment that caught our eyes this year, especially in the garden room by interior designer <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.studioenass.com\/aboutus\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.studioenass.com\/aboutus\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Studio Enass<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And not just on furniture, but across wall trims, tables, <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/us\/tag\/curtains\" data-auto-tag-linker=\"true\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/us\/tag\/curtains\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.livingetc.com\/us\/tag\/curtains\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">curtains<\/a>, and different design styles,&#8221; Miaad says. &#8220;They added movement and a sense of craft. I loved seeing tassels used in a way that didn\u2019t feel obvious.
