If you pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, you get 48 hours of early access, granting you access from 22nd September.<\/p>\n<p>This is now a fairly standard pre-order offer, but it becomes slightly silly when it turns out that incentive will theoretically make Control Resonant a PS5 console exclusive for two days. This is because the early access pre-order bonus has not been offered for either the PC or Xbox Series X|S versions.<\/p>\n<p>An early access pre-order offer is now a PS5 exclusive feature.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"Control Resonant PS5 2\" href=\"https:\/\/images.pushsquare.com\/a33075ee0e4c4\/control-resonant-ps5-2.large.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/control-resonant-ps5-2.900x.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"171\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Control Resonant PS5 2\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Is this a positive for anyone that plans to purchase Control Resonant on PS5? Sure, but I can&#8217;t help but feel this is just a bit sad, and a reflection of where we&#8217;re at with pre-order incentives nowadays. It&#8217;s \u00a359.99 \/ $69.99, and the PS5 version objectively offers better value with 48 hours of early access.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Control Resonant will almost certainly be a fantastic game when it arrives this September, but this exclusive pre-order bonus just comes across a little silly. An early access pre-order bonus is a PS5 exclusive. Surely we can do better than this, guys.<\/p>\n<p>Besides two days extra to play the game, early access to Control Resonant could at least ever so slightly loosen the load on the September 2026 release schedule. It&#8217;s launching on the same day as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/silent_hill_townfall\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Silent Hill: Townfall<\/a> and just a day before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/onimusha_way_of_the_sword\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Onimusha: Way of the Sword<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What do you make of this?
