HONRADO<\/a> was a nice winner at odds of 7-1 in the last horses to follow column last month.<\/p>\nBelow are six more beasts who should be capable of making their presence felt.<\/p>\n
NAKAAHA: The penny has really dropped for this filly who has scooted up in her last two races.<\/p>\n
Her trainer Grace Harris calls her a \u201cmonster\u201d and it is hard to argue with her after she cruised to victory at Ffos Las recently.<\/p>\n
She is entered in the Racing League fixture at Windsor this Thursday where she is officially 4lb “well in” as her handicap mark is due to go up 10lb in total. She will be hard to oppose.<\/p>\n
COOLAGH MAGIC: This monkey is an old favourite of mine. He is quirky and is always a risky punt. But when conditions are in his favour and the race is run to suit he has ability.<\/p>\n
Of course, he also has to agree to put his best hoof forward, but he is always worth a look. Entered at Yarmouth on Friday over five furlongs \u2013 that is definitely his trip \u2013 and if there is a decent gallop he could swoop late IF he is in the mood.<\/p>\n
VERAISON: I\u2019m not giving up on this filly. She had a wind operation recently and has had two starts since. She should be spot on for her next race in terms of fitness and her handicap mark has fallen to a likeable level.<\/p>\n
SOUTH PARADE: A speedy filly from the Richard Fahey yard who ran really well from an awful draw at Thirsk last week.<\/p>\n
If she has better luck with the draw on her next start, she is one to consider as she has plenty of early toe and is on a decent handicap rating.<\/p>\n
RESPECTFUL: I backed this one each-way at big odds at Carlisle on Tuesday and he may well have pinched a place but for getting no sort of run.<\/p>\n
Now with Paul Midgley, he is on a handicap mark of 63 which looks extremely workable when you consider he was rated in the late 80s when trained by Karl Burke.<\/p>\n
BYBLOS: Finally broke his maiden tag with a smooth success at Southwell in a tinpot race over 1m 3f.<\/p>\n
The step-up in trip appeared to make a big difference and Byblos could make his presence felt off a BHA rating of 83.<\/p>\n
