{"id":621694,"date":"2026-06-05T00:37:27","date_gmt":"2026-06-05T00:37:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/621694\/"},"modified":"2026-06-05T00:37:27","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T00:37:27","slug":"mounjaro-is-the-best-decision-louise-mcsharry-has-made","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/621694\/","title":{"rendered":"Mounjaro is the &#8216;best decision&#8217; Louise McSharry has made"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Louise McSharry has opened up about her experience on Mounjaro, saying she feels both physically and mentally better than she ever has before.<\/p>\n<p>Around a year ago, the former 2FM presenter had a conversation with her doctor about the drug, having struggled with the fluctuation of her weight over the past decade.<\/p>\n<p>Louise spoke of how she succeeded on multiple occasions in losing weight, but when she put the weight back on, it was more than she had initially lost.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/SnapInsta-Ai_3906972305132575134.jpg\" alt=\"Pic: Louise McSharry\/Instagram\" class=\"wp-image-2150589\"  \/>Pic: Louise McSharry\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>Louise shrugged off the idea that weight gain equals a &#8216;lack of willpower or innate weakness&#8217;, and rather that it&#8217;s simply the way some people are made.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I worked hard for many years to fight against the fat-phobic values society projected on me, and at times it worked,&#8217; she said. &#8216;At times, I felt a lot better about my bigger body, but if I\u2019m honest, I never found peace.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Enter drugs like Ozempic and Mounjaro.
